*A note on the "anti" papers: one of the main reasons people propose full reserve banking is to avoid major financial catastrophes like the great depression or the crash of 2007/8. Clearly full reserve banking has some pros and cons with respect to our current fractional reserve system. It should be noted that the authors of the anti-full-reserve-banking papers generally did not foresee the crash of 2007/8 and hence, almost by definition are likely to be blind to the pros. Another way of saying this is that the authors are already proven to be unqualified to criticise full reserve banking! Having said all that, I am including all their papers on this site for research purposes.
